PGPITM, the Post Graduate Program in Information Technology Management, is for engineering, computer science, information technology, electronics, and commerce or business graduates who are interested in technology and will learn Japanese.
The published list refers to graduates. Final-year students should confirm eligibility in a profile review. The pathway is not a shortcut to a job or a route for people who only want a certificate.
PGPITM does not publish a total fee. India fees are quoted in INR and Japan fees in JPY, with inclusions, exclusions, payment stages and the quote date. Payment follows the enrolment schedule.
The ¥3.5–6.0 million figure on this page is an indicative starting salary range, not the fee. Living costs are separate, about ¥73,000–150,000 a month on the Resource Centre.
PGPITM’s published roadmap is exploration, language development, technology and professional preparation, employer readiness, and career progression. It does not fix a month count for India or Japan.
The Resource Centre’s 24-month view is a representative plan for families. Language, visas, institution dates and employers can move it. Completing a stage is a readiness check, not a guaranteed job date.
PGPITM does not publish an entry JLPT score. Applicants need to commit to Japanese. Language work is aimed at academic life and workplace communication, and milestones are checked before later stages.
A JLPT result does not by itself prove someone can work in Japanese. Students who need more time continue preparation. The Resource Centre N4 example is not this programme’s target.
Selection starts with a profile review of goals, degree and readiness. Bhrighu decides whether to offer the preparation pathway. Language and professional milestones follow. A partner institution decides academic admission where the pathway includes one. Employers decide assessments, interviews and offers.

Interview preparation and an employer assessment are support and selection steps. A conditional conversation is not confirmed employment, and a visa still depends on immigration.
Arrival support is transition guidance in the first weeks, coordination with the academic institution, and a programme advisor for students and parents. Orientation covers workplace expectations, registration and emergency contacts.
Housing and living costs are paid by the family. Employer preparation continues as interview and communication practice. It does not include a paid placement or a guaranteed role.
Students who need more time on Japanese or technical readiness stay in preparation. The schedule moves. Further interview preparation can continue, and employers still decide any offer.
India-phase fees are non-refundable unless enrolment terms say otherwise. Partner fees follow the partner policy. Extra preparation is charged only after the family has agreed the amount.
PGPITM is a Bhrighu career pathway. This page does not say that a university awards a degree for completing it. Students who want only a certificate are outside the published fit.
If a partner credential is part of a particular intake, it is named in the written enrolment terms, including who awards it. It should not be assumed from the programme title.
